Get ready to drop the hammer at Hammer Drop Chickasaw, sponsored by MOAB Bike Shop.
This is a one-day Mountain Bike Race for all levels on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Chickasaw Trace Park in Columbia, TN.

Location: Chickasaw Trace Park - MTB Trails
1371 New Hwy 7, Columbia, TN 38401

This scenic trail system is managed by the Maury County Parks and Recreation, Columbia Cycling Club and local trail volunteers. Enjoy (9) nine great miles of single track that offers a nice variety of scenic and fun challenges. These races are great for elite, average, beginners and juniors. Come out and RACE or just come spectate!

6:30am - Check-in/Registration starts
8:00am - Beginner (CAT 3) - 1 lap (9 miles)
9:30am - Juniors - 2 laps (18 miles)
11:30am - Pro/Elite + Expert (CAT 1) - 3 laps (27 miles)
2:00pm - Sport (CAT 2) + E-Bike - 2 laps (18 miles)

USA Cycling License
This is a USAC sanctioned event. Competitive USA Cycling sanctioned events require a license to participate. Competitors who do not have an annual license can purchase a one-day license when registering for their event. Such riders do not become members and may not enter national championship events. Riders that purchase a one-day license are entitled to the USA Cycling accident medical coverage for the event day the license was purchased for and limited to only the cycling activity of the event. All medical coverage is subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy(ies).

How to purchase a one-day license
To purchase a one-day license online, click here: https://membership.usacycling.org/one-day/13807. The registration system will determine what type of one-day you need for the event in question based on the categories in your account.

Beginner One-Days 
One-Day licenses for beginner categories are $15 and may be purchased on USA Cycling’s website. 

Experienced One-Days 
If your categories prohibit you from entering a race with a beginner one-day license (cat 1 mountain bike and anything but cat 5 for road, track and cyclo-cross), you can purchase the experienced one-day license for $35. The experienced one-day license is only available online. 

Juniors License/Membership
In order to race in a USA Cycling sanctioned event, you'll need to purchase your child a JUNIOR RACE or JUNIOR+ membership. *Note: Online registration will close on 3/15. We will have day of registration, however please allow enough time to park, check-in, purchase a one-day license (if necessary), etc. before your race category is scheduled to start.
