Hope Adoption Agency's Miles for Mom

At Hope Adoption Agency, we continue in our mission and vision of serving the Upper Cumberland with affordable and accessible adoption services! Hope Adoption Agency remains as the only agency of its kind here in our region, and in 2025, we are setting our sights on raising the funds to grow and expand the opportunities for housing that we can offer our expectant mothers and keeping adoption affordable to our adoptive families.

In a jumpstart effort and in honor and celebration of every mother in the adoption journey, Hope Adoption Agency is hosting Miles for Mom, our 2nd annual 5K right here in Algood on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Our goal in hosting this race is to raise $20,000 to go directly towards our larger and long-term goal of providing affordable housing options for Hope Adoption Agency's expectant and birth mothers. 

Miles for Mom will begin promptly at 8 AM, and will take you on an enjoyable and scenic route through Algood, TN. The start with chip timing begins at the Hope Agency office and heads east on Main Street to enter Dry Valley Rd up to Old Walton Road with a left on to Old Qualls Road. The final stretch of the race will bring runners up Old Qualls Road to a left on 1st Ave and finish at the office on West Wall Street.

In order to guarantee a t-shirt for the day of the race, please register by April 21, 2025. Any participants who register after April 21, 2025, are not guaranteed a t-shirt for race day, and will instead have an opportunity to pick up a t-shirt at the Hope Agency office within two weeks of the race or can request that their t-shirt be mailed to their home address.  Listed below are race registration costs:

• March 7-April 21, 2025: $35 (Race day t-shirt guaranteed)
• April 22-May 7, 2025: $35 (Post-race day pick up or mailing of t-shirt)
• May 8-10, 2025: $50 (Post-race day pick up or mailing of t-shirt)

Runners can pick up their race packets at the Hope Adoption Agency office located at 235 W. Main Street, Cookeville, TN on Thursday or Friday, May 8-9 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Participants are also welcome to pick up race packets the morning of the race at 7:00 am.
