Walk-in fees (through 5/9) are $15 (5K) OR $5 (1 Mile) at The RUNNER, 3535 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington TX 76013 (817-461-2281). Race day fees - $20 (5K) OR $5 (1 Mile). Plus school supplies on race day. NO T-SHIRTS! But a small, scholarly memento.

This is a fun & competitive race in beautiful River Cravens Park in south Arlington. The Two-Fifths course: bridges, straight/curved, slight up/down inclines & flat stretches, wooded /open areas. Net proceeds from the race will be donated to Arlington’s St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Youth Mission; the school supplies will go to AISD’s Crow Elementary School to help some needy students in our midst.
Awards
Awards to 1st Overall male and female finishers, 1st Masters male and female finishers in the 5K. Top 3 finishers in the following age/gender groups also will be awarded: 6 & Under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 & Over.. All 1 Mile finishers will receive participation ribbons.

Brief Description
Another fun/competitive race in beautiful Cravens Park in S. Arlington. The course - relatively flat & fast. Have fun running, walking, strolling … Parking - available in the park. Donated school supplies are encouraged for AISD’s Crow Elementary School; the net race proceeds will go to Arlington’s St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Youth Mission. Our racing mission continues to be to produce affordable, hedonistically fun & athletically competitive races, that are technically sound (correctly-measured courses with minimum turns and visible distance – mile or Km – markers), that also benefit some charity(-ies) with a populist & gender parity focus – for the average runner/walker (including the novices) and also for the seasoned, serious racer****.
In a sense, St. Alban’s Episcopal (Episcopal Church of the USA) [www.saintalbansarlington.org] – which currently meets at Theatre Arlington, 305 W. Main St, Arlington, TX 76010 -- is one of the newest parishes in the Fort Worth Diocese of the Episcopal Church. We are an open and affirming congregation, a fledgling & vibrant parish who are part of the Episcopal Church with “a mission to restore all people to unity with God and one another in Christ …and a commitment to a life of prayer; honoring Holy Scripture and participating in true Episcopal worship; and to empowered lay leadership and a return to the emphasis on Christ’s instructions to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and comfort the lonely – a desire to greet one another as brothers and sisters despite differences of race or tribe, status, gender, political allegiances or ethical views and understanding.” This race is support our youth in a summer Youth Mission to Oklahoma – helping repair homes, build handicap ramps, etc. St. Albans’s contact info is;
