We have been racking our brains to figure out how we can possibly best take care of our trail friends; while doing our part in our nation and our community and the world over to slow down the passing on of COVID-19, all while just trying to figure out how to survive the day-to-day stresses being required of everyone, and looking out for our neighbors.
We know that in times of stress and uncertainty, it is even more important to have goals, get Vitamin D, be in nature, have routines, have positive influences and build strong immune systems.
To that end, we have come up with a way to give you races to look forward to, all well within the CDC’s guidelines.
You can run the race course Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday by choosing a time slot (or “Personal Starting Time”) during registration. We encourage those who have the flexibility to run on Thursday / early Friday to sign up for one of those days to help us accommodate anyone with less flexibility.
Racers can sign up to start the race during designated 45-minute time slots. You select your "Personal Starting Time" and all racers (10 slots available) will start within that 45 minute minute time period.
We are utilizing chip timing, rather than our normal “gun time.” Your time begins when you cross the mat; and ends when you cross it the final time. This way racers can easily be spaced out, not congregating or running together… All while still running the same course!
For more specific details, please visit the Tejas Trails response to COVID-19.
Please note: we have closed registration in order to get all registered runners a Personal Starting Time. Once we get them squared away, we will open registration for Pandora's Box of Rox again!
Be a part of Tejas Trails Pandora’s Box of Rox! Set on the gorgeous and challenging trails inside Reveille Peak Ranch near Burnet, Texas, this run will be sure to please every trail runner's quest for rugged adventure!
