Countdown to the Cup 5K

Join the North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee for a family-friendly event where walkers and runners of all levels are welcome! 

Gather your crew, lace up, and join athletes, families, and fans from across North Texas for a high-energy day of fun and celebration as we countdown to the biggest sporting event in the world!

And there are two ways to participate! Either at the LIVE, in person event OR you can participate VIRTUALLY!  Either way your registration will include an entry into either the LIVE or VIRTUAL 5K run/walk, the OFFICIAL race shirt, and a finisher medal!

Participants in the LIVE event, also receive chip-timing and a commemorative race bib.

Participants in the VIRTUAL event receive a virtual race bib, are able to post their times to the RunSignUp website and will receive their virtual race packets in the mail.

For both events, adult registration, ages 13 and up is $60 and youth, ages 12 and under is $30.

Note, for the LIVE event, there is no race day packet pick up or registration. All race packets must be picked up in advance, and all registrations are done online. A complete packet pick up schedule will be posted soon and emailed to all participants registered in the LIVE event.

The LIVE event run/walk is also capped at 5,000 participants so sign up early, before this event sells out!

8:00 AM - Welcome Announcements

8:25 AM - Call to the Start Line

8:30 AM - 5K Run/Walk Start

9:45 AM - Awards Ceremony

11:00 AM - Event Ends
