Description
Charge! Teddy's 5K is a race to find a cure for STXBP1 Disorder.
STXBP1 is a rare genetic neurological disorder that can cause epilepsy and severe developmental delays. Incredible hope for a cure is on the horizon with groundbreaking research currently underway at several hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. As a 501(c)(3) created in honor of STXBP1 thriver Teddy Taylor, funds raised by Teddy’s Rough Riders will be directed toward the cure, research, and support of STXBP1 and those impacted by it.
The race will start and finish at Audubon Park in Garland, TX. October 26th is the Saturday before Halloween - so everyone is encouraged to wear their costumes if they would like! We will have an exciting prize for the best costume that will be presented after the race. Runners of all ages are encouraged to participate.
Packets can be picked up the morning of the race starting at 8 AM.
Come join the charge!
