The Heart of Duncanville 5K has long been a tradition in our community and fosters comradery and pride in our city and our schools. The downtown Duncanville merchants support this event and look forward to customers visiting their businesses and the city.

The Duncanville ISD Education Foundation (DISDEF) sponsors this event and our mission is to support the teachers and students of Duncanville ISD. This year, the proceeds of the 5K will benefit the Panther Pantry and Clothing Closet which provides clothing, hygiene items, school supplies, and non-perishable foods to students and families who are experiencing a hardship. The Panther Pantry and Clothing Closet serves Duncanville ISD families and students who are in transition or have experienced unfortunate situations causing financial difficulties. Please help us help students access their education with dignity. 

When you come to pick up your runner packet, please drop off a food donation for the Panther Pantry. Items needed will be included in your race registration confirmation email. 

Race Highlights:

• Customized t-shire to all pre-registered participants

• Keepsake medal awarded to all finishers

• Certificates of achievement available online for all finishers

• Top Overall Winners (Male & Female) AND Top Masters Winner (Male & Female over 40) will receive $50 Gift cards

• Medals also awarded to the top (3) Male & Female Overall age group winners.

• Chip-timed

• USA Track & Field Certified Course
