Description
Please join us on Saturday, June 28, 2025, for the first ever fundraising event the Jubilee Mobile Food Pantry Prayer Walk/5K sponsored by Restoring God's Family (RGF) Network. Restoring God's Family Network is a registered 501c3, non-profit organization aimed at providing temporary emergency housing and resources for lower- and middle-income individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Food insecurity in Williamson County impacts roughly 77,610 people, or 12.6% of the population. With recent cuts to government assistance programs, more families are becoming reliant on resources provided by food pantries. While Williamson County has roughly 16 food pantries, many of these pantries are only able to serve a portion of the population in need. In a county with large pockets of rural space and limited access to public transportation, the location of food pantries poses an additional challenge for mobility impaired individuals and people without access to transportation.
The Jubilee Mobile Food Pantry program is a direct response to the growing issue of food insecurity impacting Williamson County. The Jubilee Mobile Food Pantry will travel throughout Williamson County providing easier access food pickup locations for people experiencing food insecurity. Our goal is to alleviate hunger by providing consistent access to nutritious foods. This program will be a long-term, sustainable solution to reduce food insecurity while also improving overall health outcomes for people living in high poverty areas in Williamson County.
Who is RGF Network?
Restoring God’s Family (RGF) Network is a registered 501c3, non-profit organization aimed at providing resources for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and/or food insecurity. RGF Network also has an on-line discipleship program, Warrior Training School, that is an immersive program that combines deep biblical teaching, daily spiritual disciplines and real accountability to produce lasting transformation. RGF's long-term vision is to purchase 350+ acres of land to provide temporary emergency housing for low- and middle-income families experiencing homelessness.
One of our core values is social responsibility. We firmly believe all people deserve access to basic human needs such as healthy food, clean water, clothing and shelter. In situations where these needs are not met, RGF aims to be a resource to fill the gap. We want to enrich families’ and individuals’ lives, improve health outcomes, empower communities, and help impoverished areas have more equitable access to healthy food choices.

What is a Prayer Walk?
A Prayer Walk is the practice of walking and praying in order to seek God's guidance, protection, and blessings upon the people and places we encounter. Prayer walking allows us to partner with God in interceding for our communities. Walking in prayer is a way to demonstrate our faith and trust in Him, acknowledging that He is at work in every aspect of our lives. It also helps us to align our hearts and minds with God's will, allowing Him to shape our desires and open our eyes to His purposes. As we walk and pray, we are declaring God's kingdom come and His will be done in the places we visit. It is an expression of our love and care for others, as we lift up their needs and concerns to the Lord.
