Kick-start your holiday festivities with the whole family and join us for the in the 2nd Annual ‘Jingle All The 5K', benefiting Memorial Assistance Ministries. The fun run/walk will start at 9AM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Addicks Park and Ride right off of I-10. Not only do participants receive a festive t-shirt and ornament medal, but there will also be an appearance by Santa, dancing reindeer and post-race refreshments. So, come out and show everyone your best holiday attire and spirit!
Each participant will receive a festive bib, t-shirt and a commemorative ornament medal!

Spread the joy of the holidays on our event day by donating a new toy to the Memorial Assistance Ministries 'Christmas Share' program. They'll be on-site at the event collecting any toys you wish to donate. Their goal this year is to reach 700 children with families in need via the program, so each toy counts! (Note: please no stuffed animals, board games, or computer games). To learn more about the program, click here.

All ages can participate in the event. Strollers and walkers are also welcome, we just ask that you start in the back of the corral at event start to allow runners ahead.

A little bit about 'MAM': As the largest provider of social services in west Houston, MAM’s 30+ year history in the local community is well known as the place to go when help is needed. The very basis of their existence is rooted in the value that neighbors help neighbors! MAM’s primary goal is to help families facing financial crisis avoid homelessness, offer programs enabling long-term financial stability, and assure children an improved school experience. Our neighbors know they can come to MAM for support in their time of need. Recently, many of the families in our service area and community have been directly impacted by Hurricane Harvey. MAM has been working in high gear to provide rent, utility, temporary housing, health care, and transportation assistance to families in need. With your help we will continue to improve the lives of families in need. Together, we are a caring community!

All Bibs have an RFID tag located on the back of the bib for tracking on the course. Please leave this tracking in place centered on the front of your shirt to accurately time/track your participation.

While there will be event day packet pickup, there will not be any gear check available on site. We strongly encourage participants to plan an early arrival to find parking and wait in any potential lines there may be to receive your packet. Packet Pick-Up on event day will conclude promptly at event start (9am).
Event Day Registration
Event day registration will be available at the registration tent near the start line area. Registering on the day of the event will guarantee you an entry until sold out!
After you have completed your 5K, the fun continues! Swing by our post-race hospitality area near the start/finish line for refreshments, including complimentary Nothing Bundt Cakes for ALL participants!
The Addicks Park and Ride has a plentiful amount of accessible parking (handicap parking included) via two accessible entry/exit points on event day. See 'Parking Map' below on this page for visual details.
There will be no event day gear check. Please securely store your belongings in your vehicle or leave at home.
Follow the 'Course Map' on the page above to the start line area. 5K starts and ends under an inflatable start and finish line identified on the map.
Mile markers will be at each mile.
Water stations will be available at the start line and mid-way thru the run/walk.
Special Thanks to our friends at Orion EMS and their sister company Vitality IV for being our 'Official Medical Partner' of the 'Jingle All The 5K'! If anyone needs medical attention during the event, Orion will have an EMS service provided right behind the hospitality tent. Spring Action Photos will be on hand to provide high quality photos of your participation in the event. Your photos will be posted soon after the event and you can search for your photos by your last name or your bib number at www.springactionphotos.com. Watch for discounts that will be offered.
Tips for better race photos:
· Wear your bib on the front of your shirt.
· Pin all 4 corners of your bib.
· Pull your cap/hat away from your face.
· If running with a friend/family, run shoulder to shoulder while your photos are shot.
Please keep "Rules of the Road" in mind when running. If walking during the event, stay to the right of the street at all times and pass on the left when possible. Please be courteous of other participants. For competitive participants, please remember this is a 'friendly' competition. Safety first!
Due to insurance restrictions, animals, skates or other vehicular apparatus are not allowed by participants on the race course.
Headphones are not recommended during the race, but not prohibited. Please stay aware and in-tune with your surroundings.
All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund. If you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else and entry fees will not be transferred from year to year.
This will be a 'friendly' competition across multiple categories, including:
Fastest Male & Female: Overall and Masters (40+)
Disclaimer Regarding Awards:
If, upon verification, the Race Directors find discrepancies, the winning individuals will not be eligible for an award. All awards will be distributed to the winners following the conclusion of the event.
Volunteers are a key part of any successful run event. If you’re looking to earn required service hours or support your community at our event, we’d love to have your support!

Can't make it to the event? No problem! Sign up for our Virtual Run option and run the event on your own time. Participants that choose this option will be able to pick up their run bib, shirt, and commemorative medal during packet pick-up or have it shipped directly to you (you get to choose either option during registration).
If you need it shipped to you, standard shipping is included within your registration cost and we'll ship it to your address within three weeks or less following the conclusion of the event on 12/1.
