Description
By bringing together future physicians and the Houston community in a fitness event, we hope to show that exercise is not only in a doctor's advice, but in a doctor's way of life!
The 1st annual Baylor College of Medicine Wellness 5k was organized by medical students in 2012 with the mission of promoting wellness both within Baylor and the Houston community as a whole. That year, we hosted over 500 runners and walkers and raised over $18,000 for charity and community projects. The 2013 race continued the successes of the first year as we hosted over 400 runners and walkers and raised over $14,000!
This year we plan to make the race even bigger and better than previous years. We hope you will join us!
