Dashing Through The Groves is a 5K/fun run hosted by Ashlar Development and The Groves to celebrate the new road connection opening of Madera Run & Woodland Hills. Ashlar Development & The Groves has partnered with YMCA of Greater Houston and the Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex to host a 5k/fun run for The Groves residents and the public.
Join us in celebrating the opening of the Madera Run & Woodland Hills connection that will put The Groves a mere 5 minutes away from Beltway 8.
Benefiting the YMCA of Greater Houston and the Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex, the Dashing Through The Groves 5k is a fun and community-wide way to better the lives of countless Houston-area children. Kick off the holiday season with post-race fun such as a snow hill, bounce house, a trackless train and a performance by the West Lake Middle School Choir. We will also have food trucks and a hot chocolate station so you can get your fill of festive snacks.
The Adaptive Sports Complex features a barrier free playground, large pavilion, and two fields specifically designed for wheelchairs and walkers for Miracle League games. These amenities allow children of all abilities to enjoy sports and to climb and play alongside their siblings and friends. Humble ISD owns, maintains, and utilizes the facility during the school day, and the YMCA uses the facility during the evenings and on weekends.
Registration includes a t-shirt, race entry and a swag bag.
