Can I register the day of the race? No, day-of race registration is not available. 

Where do I pick up my race packet? Monty Ballard YMCA at Cinco Ranch – 22807 Westheimer Parkway Katy, Texas 77494 | Packet pick-up day/times: Saturday 11/22 9 am-12 pm, Tuesday 11/25 4-7 pm, Wednesday 11/26 2-6 pm and Thursday 11/27 6:45-8 am 

Where can I park for the race? Early parking is available at The Fellowship (22765 Westheimer Pkwy) and Villagio Town Center parking garage (22756 Westheimer Pkwy). Additionally, shuttles will run from 6:30-10:30 am from the Super Target parking lot (23710 Westheimer Pkwy). Busses leave every 8-10 minutes or as filled. 

Can someone else pick up my bib and race packet? Yes - Please ensure the individual picking up the packets has your name and corral information.

Will poor weather conditions affect the race? The race will continue if light rain occurs; however, in extreme weather conditions, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel the race. 

What if I register for the 10K and decide on race day to run the 5K?  If you run a race you didn't register for (i.e. you registered for the 10K and run the 5K), your race will not be timed. 

Can I run in more than one race? Yes - Runners are required to have a registration for each race.  

If I can’t run, can I get a refund? No - Your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Katy Area YMCAs Annual Campaign.

Are strollers allowed on the course? 10K/5K walkers/runners with strollers should line up at the back behind the walkers for safety purposes. When registering, please choose Corral C for the 10K and Corral E for the 5K. Strollers in the 1 Mile Family Walk/Run should also line up in the back behind the walkers.

Do I need to register my infant if he/she is in a stroller? No - You will not need to register the infant unless you want them to have a t-shirt; however, anyone not in a stroller must be registered to be on the course.

My child is registered for the Kids Run. Can I run with them? No - This race is for children who feel comfortable running alone. If you would like to run with your child, please register for the One Mile Family Walk/Run instead. 

Can I wear my headphones while running? Yes - However we highly discourage it due to traffic on major roads.

What is the course time limit for the 5K and 10K? We ask for all participants to complete their race by 10 am. If you are still on the course after this time, please move to the sidewalk as the roads will reopen to traffic beginning at 10 am. 

Can I bring my dog(s)? For the safety of our runners, dogs are NOT allowed on the race course but can be spectators in the post race area as long as they are on a leash.

Are bicycles allowed on the course?  Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, etc. are not permitted on the race course.

Can I exchange my T-shirt for a different size? Yes - You may exchange your shirt during packet pick-up dependent on availability. We will also have a race information booth in the post race area with additional shirts if available. 

Is there medical support on the course? Yes - Medical support is provided on the race course via bike medics and in the post-race area via ambulance. 

Where do I put my bib? Pin your race number to the front of your clothing in an area that will be visible throughout the entire race.

Are there water stations? Staffed and equipped water stations will be positioned along the 5K and 10K courses. There will be additional water available at the finish line and in the post race area.

How soon can I find race results? Race results will be available immediately after a participants crosses the finish line. Results can be found at the Awards Booth in the post race area, or on QR code signage near the finish line. 

Can I buy additional Turkey Dash T-shirts? Yes - You may buy them ahead of time from the "T-Shirt Tab" on the race website, at Packet Pick up or in the post race area on Thanksgiving Day. If extras are available, you can purchase them the week after race day at the Monty Ballard YMCA at Cinco Ranch.

Are there awards? Yes - 10K and 5K finishers will be awarded based on the top three performers of each age group. Overall awards for the 10K and 5K will also be awarded. The award ceremony will take place at 9:15 am at the stage in the post race area. 

Can race photos be purchased?  Yes - Please visit raceshot.net to order them.

Some neighborhoods on the race course will be impacted during select times. We will have road marshals and police officers onsite to assist with traffic flow. Please come back later for an updated PDF.
