Run for a Cure 5K

Cancer touches countless lives, but together, we can make a difference. Join us for the 3rd Annual Run for a Cure 5K on October 4th in Mansfield, TX for a fun, pink-powered event celebrating survivors, families, and the communities that stand beside them.  Registration now open.

Can't join us in person? Support cancer survivors by making a donation. All proceeds are donated to the Livestrong at the YMCA program and Careity Foundation for cancer survivors.

Race Details

• Starting Line Location: Texas Health Hospital Mansfield
• Walking and strollers are welcomed to join the live events
• All ages, paces and levels can participate
• First 500 registered participants will receive a Race Shirt
• First 500 registered participants will receive a Finisher Medal
• Awards granted to the overall male and females and top 3 males and females in each category: 12 & under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+
• Packet Pickup: Thursday, October 2nd from 3:00pm-7:00pm and Friday, October 3rd from 12pm - 6pm at the Mansfield YMCA (78 Regency Pkwy Mansfield, TX 76063). Day of event packet pick up takes place at 7am at Texas Health Mansfield.

Race Beneficiary
This race benefits the Livestrong at the YMCA program with the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA and the Careity Foundation.

Livestrong at the YMCA is a 12-week physical activity program designed to help adult cancer survivors regain strength through exercise. Livestrong at the YMCA equips those living with, through, or beyond cancer to get back on their feet and connect with other survivors. Participants enjoy free exercise regimens catered to their individual needs. Sessions are led by certified fitness instructors at Y locations across the country. Instructors are trained in cancer survivorship, post-rehabilitation exercise, and supportive cancer care. Learn more here.

Careity Foundation, based in Fort Worth, Texas, is dedicated to providing direct, compassionate support to cancer patients in North Texas. With a focus on early detection, treatment, and patient-centered care, Careity ensures that those battling cancer receive the critical medical, emotional, and financial support they need at no cost to them. Teamwork makes the dream work! When it comes to beating cancer, support from family, friends and others can make a world of difference. Create a team for the RUN FOR A CURE 5K and run or walk to support people affected by breast cancer.  The bigger the team, the bigger the impact we can have to help cancer patients.
