Craig Ranch Sprint Triathlon is a pool swim in an outdoor 50 meter lane length Olympic sized pool. This is a USAT sanctioned race with a time trial serpentine swim course. The Sunday, September 9th race starts at 7:30 am. Gather your tri gear and come out for a fast and flat course with good eats at the post party!
350 meter serpentine swim in 50 meter lane length outdoor pool (time trial start every 10 seconds).
12 mile two-loop bike course.
No refunds or transfers to other events. This is a rain or shine event.
There will be a free breakfast for all participants poolside after the race.
All registered participants will receive a long sleeve tech shirt. All finishers will receive a finisher's medal.
Schedule and locations will be announced approximately two weeks prior to the event.
The race is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event. All participants must be a current annual member of USAT or purchase a one-day permit for $15 or an annual membership for $50 through online registration or at packet pickup---no exceptions.
NOTE: No Race Day registration.
The awards will be three deep per age group with individual awards for overall male, overall female, overall masters female & male and overall grand masters female & male, Athena 39 and under and Athena 40 and over, Clydesdale 39 and under, Clydesdale 40 and over.
The break down of age group awards are as follows:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 -69, and 70 & over
The transition area will open 90 minutes before the race and closes 15 minutes before race start for pre-race meeting. Bike racks will be assigned by number.
The swim is an outdoor pool swim of 350 meters. Swim order is based on estimated 350 meter swim time.
The bike course is a 12 mile fast and flat loop.
The run is 3.1 miles.
