Description
We have rebranded the McKinney Half-Marathon and 5k and are introducing the Inaugural Mayor's Half-Marathon and 5k. Run along the paved trails of McKinney, providing an experience challenging enough for hardcore runners while engaging for all ability levels. Breathe in the sights and smells of Fall!
All finishers will get a sweet custom medal and a race t-shirt.

For Guaranteed Shirt Sizes, Please Register By October 15th. Any registrations thereafter will be on a first come first serve basis for inventory size availability.
Awards
Overall Male and Female winners along with Masters Male and Female winners will receive awards as well as the first three in all age groups in ten year increments starting at 9 and under and going to 70 and over.
All finishers will receive a medal at the finish line.
Packet Pick up
Packet Pick Up
Family and/or friends can pick your race packet up for you if you are unable to do so. We encourage getting your race packet prior to race day.
Thursday 11/02 - 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday 11/03 – 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Race Day packet pickup will be at the race site from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. If you arrive after 7:30 a.m. for packet pick up there is no guarantee your packet will be available. Please arrive in time to park, grab your packet, and make it to your race start time accordingly.
Beneficiary
We are super excited to be working with the the Love Life Foundation of McKinney. Your participation in this event goes directly towards to helping this great group of individuals that makes people aware of the tragedies inflicted upon children, and then to identify and support the agencies that bring relief and comfort to those young victims and their families. Parking
There are 2 parking garages located within walking distance to the start line. Please arrive to give yourself plenty of time to park, use the facilities if needed, stretch, and get to the start line 5 to 10 minutes prior to the race starting.
Gift Cards
Have a runner in your life and need a gift? Gift a race entry to the Mayor's Half-Marathon or 5K.
Instructions:
- Email racechiptiming@gmail.com with the name of the participant and distance desired (half-marathon or 5K)
- Receive a printable or emailable electronic gift certificate for the runner
- They simply present it to the registration table on race day
All SWAG for the race will be presented to them before or after the race for a surprise, or they can attend packet pickup if it's more convenient.
