Description
One of the most beautiful traditions in Texas is the Bluebonnets that bloom in the spring. Inspired by their beauty, the Texas Bluebonnet Half Marathon will be run on the beautiful scenic trails (all paved) in McKinney. Super awesome Bluebonnet T-shirt and a custom Texas Bluebonnet Half Marathon and 5k medal will be just a couple reasons you will want to run this race. Don't wait until the last minute to register for this one, as it usually sells out quick!

Please plan on arriving to give yourself plenty of time to pick your packet up on race day morning. There is NO GUARANTEE that your packet will be available after 7:00 a.m. on race day regardless of which distance you are participating in!

Swag and Awards
PLEASE REGISTER BY APRIL 9TH FOR A GUARANTEED T-SHIRT AND MEDAL. ANY INDIVIDUALS WHO REGISTER AFTER APRIL 9TH MAY NOT RECEIVE A RACE T-SHIRT OR MEDAL!
All finishers will receive a custom finisher medal and a sweet race day t-shirt (PLEASE SEE REGISTRATION NOTE ABOVE).
Overall Male and Female winners, Masters Male and Female winners, and the first three finishers in all age groups in ten year increments starting at 9 and under and going to 70 and over will receive awards.

Gift Cards
Have a runner in your life and need a gift? Gift a race entry to the Texas Bluebonnet Half-Marathon and 5k.
Instructions:
Email racechiptiming@gmail.com with the name of the participant and distance desired (Half-Marathon or 5K)
Receive a printable or emailable electronic gift certificate for the runner
They simply present it to the registration table on race day
All SWAG for the race will be presented to them before or after the race for a surprise, or they can attend packet pickup if it's more convenient.
Parking
There is parking available at the race location. If the main parking lot gets full, there is additional, over flow parking in the lot on the other side of the school. Please arrive to give yourself plenty of time to park, use the facilities, and get to the start line 10 to 15 minutes before the start of your event.
