The Prettiest Race in Texas Virtual Half Marathon & 5K

We are so excited for the 2020 medal! This year, we have created medals with a roughly 3"x3" opening in the middle for you to insert a photo! The Prettiest Race in Texas can literally be anywhere this year, so we wanted you to be able to commemorate your run with this unique and personalized medal. The trees to the side of the photo match the 2020 finisher's shirt, and is a nod to the beautiful trees along River Road where the original race was (and will be held again!). We look forward to seeing how each of your personalize your medals!
Medals are roughly 5"x5" with a customized ribbon so you can easily put it on display!

2020 Finisher's Shirts will be Craft technical tees in a vibrant blue with this beautiful print on the front. This print was designed with the beautiful view running down River Road in mind. 

What do I get with my registration?
Runners will receive a digital download race bib, the official 2020 Chosen Half Marathon technical shirt, and the official 2020 Chosen Half Marathon finisher medal.

Is there race day registration?
Registration will be open until November 27th at noon. You will have until the end of the day on November 27th to run your race and submit your time via the Race Joy app. 

Can I send in my registration instead of registering online?
No, at this time we cannot accept mail-in registrations.

What does it mean to run virtually?
Virtual Runners will run a half marathon (13.1 miles) or 5K (3.1 miles) anywhere in the world anytime between November 21 and November 29, 2020. Data from your run will be submitted via the Race Joy app. 

What is the transfer / refund policy?
Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable due to administrative constraints and liability.  Any inquiry regarding this policy will be directed back to this page. Transfers between one participant to another are prohibited.

Can I change my registration to a different subevent?
Yes.  Switching to a longer distance or to a virtual runner is available. Refunds and deferrals will not be issued.

Where do I pick up my race packet?
There are no packets for this race. Bibs will be available for download online. Finisher's tees and finisher's medals will be mailed to finishers the week following the race. 

Can I pick up someone else’s packet?
All registered runner's finisher items will be mailed the week following the race. 

Please note, no further deferrals or refunds will be issued for the 2020 race. The deadline for previous deferrals was July 31st, 2020. 

How do I find out about race changes due to inclement weather, disaster, etc.?
There will be no cancellations for this race since you will be allowed to race from November 21 through November 27. We recommend you use your best judgement when choosing your race time. 

Where do the events start and finish?
Your race can start and finish anywhere you like. Choose a safe and well-lit course! From the Race Joy app, you will choose to start your race, and the app will guide you through your miles!
