For the Love of Running 5K/1K

For the Love of Running 5K/1K is a heart-warming race that fills your heart with warmth on the Saturday right after Valentine's Day. Let the winding paths of the Dawson High School Campus guide your passion for running while supporting the cherished Dawson Cross Country and Track & Field programs.  

Feel the love in every step as you join fellow enthusiasts, with delightful door prizes and vendors to add to the joy. This event welcomes the entire family to share in the love-filled atmosphere.

Overall Male and Female winners who are 18 and over (out of high school) will receive $250 for that outstanding achievement!!! 

Awards will be given to the top 3 Male and top 3 Female for each age division of the 5K as well. 

There will be an award for the best Valentine's Day Costume!!

The Deadline for Online Entry is February 12th and will close at noon.

Packet Pickup Friday February 14th at Dawson Bus Drop off lane that is on the south side of school (Drive by, no need to get out of your car) from 5:30-7:00pm.

Race Day registration will close at 7:30am February 8th.

The Love of Running 5K/1K will be hosted on the south side of Dawson High School between the Gym and Baseball/Softball fields.

1K will start at 8 am

5K will start at 8:15 am 

In the event of severe weather or lightning, there are no refunds and the registration fee will be considered as a donation to the Dawson Cross Country/Track & Field Programs
