Description
As part of the Pearland Holi - Festival of Colors, we are excited to bring to the community in Pearland and the entire Greater Houston Area, a 5K color run. Experience the colors of life, get colored up while you run/walk and enjoy the festivities throughout the day. The first 3 runners per category will receive a a medal. Every participant will receive a participatory medal and will also receive some color packets and entry into the Holi color play zone. Though it is not a timed run, we will spot the first 3 participants per category manually.

Enjoy the colors of life and get soaked in colors. Holi is also known as the "World's craziest festival" and will get even crazier with this color run.
For non runners, if you think 5K is a lot, no worries. You can walk and have fun with your friends and family. There is an option to cut short and just do a 3K (However you won't qualify for a prize if you take the short cut)
The race will start at the Pearland Town Center Pavilion and end there. Along the route volunteers will be dousing colors on the runners for a fun experience. Every race participant receives a race bib, participation medal, a shirt, color packets, other useful items for the race and some sponsor give aways . The race starts between 8:30 and 9:00 am and reporting time will be 8:00 AM. This timing may be subject to change too. The actual event will go on throughout the day. Runners can enjoy food and treats and play in the color zone, mix and mingle with others, do shopping at our vendor booths and enjoy the festivities.
Additional race details, packet pickup and other information will be made available closer to the event. Please note that this is a rain or shine event, unless there is extreme dangerous weather conditions, the event will go on as scheduled.
This year's run our theme is 'Standing up against Bullying' and we will be donating a part of the proceeds towards organizations that dealing with bullying victims and spreading awareness on combating bulying
