Attack Poverty
Attack Poverty is an international organization that serves
locally by adopting pockets of poverty and launching "Friends
Initiatives". Attack Poverty has two large initiatives
right
here in Fort Bend County: Friends of North Richmond and Friends
of Kendleton.
These initiatives focus largely on raising the
value of
education, job-readiness training and literacy
programs. By participating in this race you are attacking
poverty right in your own backyard!
