5k race for runners or walkers of all ages. This July 4th race starts the American day of celebration-with a bang! The race has been a community event for 12 years. Chip timed and on a certified course with a variety of age brackets. Registration and packet pick up starts at 6:30 and the race starts at 8 am.
Proceeds from the race go to the Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce, to fund promotion of and activities in the community of Saint Jo and to the Easy Street Animal Shelter, a local, rural, NO-KILL shelter that provides love and care for homeless dogs as they work to find them forever homes.
