Come and join us for the First annual Bigfoot Mardi Gras Masquerade! The Bigfoot Masquerade will take you on an journey through beautiful Sugarland Memorial Park in Sugarland Texas. With race distances of 1 mile, 5K or even 10K this is a great race for runners of any ability level. Can't make it that day? No worries we offer 5k and 10k Virtual Race options that still include the awesome swag. Are you going for a personal best or just want to have some healthy fun with friends or co-workers? Then this is the race for you. The first place overall Male and Female 5K and 10K finishers will receive the highly coveted Bigfoot trophy to show off to your family and friends. Add to that our super comfy Bigfoot Tee, custom medal, and custom race bib and you have the recipe for a legendary event. Celebrate Mardi Gras the Bigfoot way. This event will be the envy of all your friends!
This event will be exciting. There will be DJ Sasquatch playing all the hits, beads galore, awesome custom Bigfoot Masquerade shirt, custom finisher medal, costume contest, age group awards, and the highly coveted Bigfoot Trophy! This will be a high energy, family friendly, event that will be a must attend. Have some little Yeti's joining you? Make sure they participate in our Kid's Dash so they can receive our super cool kids recognition swag they will surely treasure. Snacks and bottled water will be available to all participants after finishing as well as several aid station's along the course.
Jam out with our DJ Sasquatch who will be playing all the hits at the race rally trailer by the starting/finishing area. We are a professional race company with multiple years of experience directing races for other event companies. Come experience a fun, family friendly, race environment that is sure to become a staple race on your annual running calendar.
This is a fun, family event for all ages with all distances!
10k registration includes a custom chip timed bib, super soft tee, custom Bigfoot 10K window decal and an awesome finisher medal!

1-mile registration is untimed and includes a custom bib, super soft tee, and challenge pin!
The kid's dash is a fun, untimed dash for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized t-shirt, and kid's dash pin! (If your child wants to run the kid's dash, and doesn't want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)
Virtual 5K & 10K include all listed swag that the on site folks get.
On a budget? Choose our highly discounted "Volunteer then Run" option and join us a bit early race day to help with packet pick up and when you finish running you get to be part of all the fun during award distribution.

Overall Finisher Trophy
First place overall in the 5K and 10K male and female participants will receive the highly coveted Bigfoot Trophy. Great to show off to your friends and family and validate your well deserved bragging rights!
Volunteer with US!!
Sign up under the "VOLUNTEER" tab on the top menu. Course Monitor and Aid Station volunteers earn an event shirt and a FREE race entry to a future event to use for yourself or to gift to someone else OR our exclusive volunteer SWAG pack! Volunteer for a half marathon and earn TWO free race entries for a future event!
Course Monitors help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic away from participants and guiding participants in the right direction. Feel free to bring pom-poms, horns, music, instruments, signs, etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!
Aid Station volunteers provide water to participants as they pass. Keep the course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles, and trash and placing it in the provided trash bins. Please feel free to bring pom poms, signs, horns, music, etc to cheer on participants. Bonus for great costumes!
Volunteers arrive at the event 1 hour 15 minutes before start time and check in at the registration tent.
Packet Pickup
Pre-Race Packet Pickup details are still being finalized, this page will be updated, and an email sent out to all registered participants once details are finalized.
Packet Pickup is always available on race day an hour and a half before the start of the race.
If you need to switch to virtual please email support@bigfootrunningco.com BEFORE the event or come to packet pickup and pick up your items. If we are not notified prior to the event, items may not be available as we open items up after the event for late registrations.

8:55am Kids Dash (Meet at the Start Line and we will walk participants out to the starting area)
9:00am National Anthem and Race Start!
Results and Awards are live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!
Virtual Event
Virtual Event participants are welcome to run any day, anytime, at the location of their choice!
Your registration includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and shipping for your packet. Your packet will be mailed to you and will ship out the Tuesday after the race. You can upload your times starting the day of the event on the results page. You can also upload any photos in the "participant upload" album on the photos page!

Refund / Cancellation Policy
Cancelation Policy: All Bigfoot Running Company events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy. If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course.
