Runners, we wouldn't be able to complete our puzzle piece without you!
With autism becoming the fastest-growing serious developmental disability in the US with 1 in 68 children diagnosed, Autism Speaks is looking to raise awareness while having a great time in the 1st Annual Houston 8k & 1k Kid's Fun Run on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Sugar Land Town Square.
So lace up those running shoes for an event that means so much more than just 4.97 miles. Recruit friends and family for your team and get ready to run, walk or virtual run for a great cause.
Teams: Teams take on the spirit of the day as family, friends and co-workers join together to have fun and help raise awareness for autism. Organize friends, family, schools, place of worship, community organization, or get your company involved! Choose a team name and captain or co-captains. Each team member (adult and child) is asked to set a minimum fundraising goal of $168, but we always encourage more!
Donate $50 or more to receive the VIP Package on Race Day. Your VIP Experience includes upfront parking, VIP Tent access which includes massage tables, mimosa bar, specialty cocktails, catered food, and a race concierge for all your questions and needs. Not only will you receive the wonderful perks of the VIP Experience, but your $50 donation provides 20 families with one-on-one support from a member of the Autism Speaks autism response team.
