5K Run/ Walk - No Tshirt and No Finisher Medal

The 22nd Annual Tyler Turkey Trot 5K and Fun Run will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Racquet and Jog in Tyler, Texas.
Join us for a festive run, jog or walk. This is a perfect way to celebrate a family-friendly Thanksgiving Day 5k!
The Kids' Race kicks off at 8:30AM and the 5K kicks off at 9:00AM.
Your 5K registration includes a long sleeve t-shirt, medal and chip-timed race. Kids' Dash registrants receive a kids t-shirt and a medal. Participants of the Kids' Dash may participate in the 5K for free, however, to be chip-timed, a 5K registration will be required.
Start Thanksgiving Day off on the right turkey leg and get a little exercise in before that big meal. You’ve got stuffing to lose!
The event will start and finish at Racquet & Jog, located at 5403 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75703. All who register can expect a long sleeve event t-shirt, a finisher medal and family fun! The 5K event will be chip timed. Kids' Dash registrants receive a kids t-shirt and a medal. Participants of the Kids' Dash may participate in the 5K for free; however, to be chip-timed, a 5K registration will be required.
Age categories for the 5K are: > 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 and above.
You must register online. You will be able to register online until 6:00PM the day prior to race day. You will NOT be able to register or pick up your packet the day of the event.
Participants and spectators are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving-themed costumes and join us for a festive run, jog, or walk.
Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick Up will be in the parking lot of Racquet & Jog in Tyler, Texas. If you are unable to pick up your own race packet, you may authorize another person to pick up your packet/bib number.

Very Important: We will NOT have packet pick up the day of the event!!

Our charity for the 2024 Tyler Turkey Trot is Promise Academy, located in Tyler, TX. Promise Academy is a private Christian school that offers affordable, income-based tuition rates for families in the North Tyler area. Their mission is to cultivate wise, creative, and compassionate leaders through exemplary Christ-centered education, providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes kindness, compassion, and unity.
