Both the 5K and 15K race course start and finish at the Redwood Shelter in Cameron Park and run through the trails on the rolling hills in Cameron Park. As you are running on trails with names like Powerline, Slinky, Mix Master, and Vortex, you may discover how they got their names.
The Chupacabra Trail Run is the last race in the Huaco Cuatro Trail Run Series. Participants that complete all 4 races in the series will receive a special plaque to display their finisher medals.
There are great running trails throughout the Waco area. The Huaco Cuatro Trail Run Series will feature four of these trails. Three of the trail runs will be in Cameron Park and one in Woodway Park. Each race will present it's own set of challenges of distance and terrain.
VIRTUAL RACE OPTION - For those that want to earn their finisher's medal and custom race shirt and cannot make the live event, we have a virtual race option. The virtual race offers participants all the same great swag as the live event (shirt and finisher's medal) mailed directly to the virtual runner upon completion of the virtual race requirements.
