Here's How It Works

While the race is an amazing experience itself, it's even better when you have friends join you! Once you sign up to TRI, you will automatically become part of the BEACH BUM Support Tribe! Refer friends and family to join you to earn your registration back. Here's how it works:
1) Sign up for the race. Once you complete your registration, you'll receive a unique URL link to share.
2) Share this unique link with friends and family.
3) Each time someone signs up through your link, you'll accrue a referral. Earn four referrals and get $20 credited back to you.
So Simple even a Beach Bum can handle it!

WHERE TO FIND YOUR LINK

Your unique URL can be found in two places:
• Inside the Confirmation Email you received when you registered. It’s located above the “Event Information” section.
• On your RunSignUp account you created when you registered. Go to your profile and select the “My Referrals” tab. From there, you can copy and paste the links provided, as well as see how many times your code has been used!

WHERE TO SHARE YOUR LINK

Anywhere it might be seen! Post your link on Facebook, Twitter, in your Instagram bio, or email it to your friends/family/co-workers! The possibilities are endless!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

- Refunds are issued on increments of 4 referrals. I.e., If your link is used 3 times then no refund is issued.
- It will only count as a referral if your link is used. If someone clicks on the link but then backs out of the page for any reason, the referral will NOT be counted!
- If posting the link on social media, be sure to renew it weekly so it stays current on everyone’s timeline.
- You must share your entire URL link (not just the referral code) in order for it to count!

REWARD

YOUR LINK WAS USED 4 TIMES - You will receive a $20 refund (back on your original payment method) of your registration fee!
YOUR LINK WAS USED 4 MORE TIMES - You will receive another $20 refund (back on your original payment method) of your registration fee!
And so on... until your refunds match or exceed your registration fee.
