The Trail Festival at Pineland Farms will be staged in the Grove at Pineland. Below you will find course maps for all of the weekend's events. Courses are marked in black. All courses will be clearly marked on the race weekend.
Our 5k events will be run on the Campus Loop trail.
The 10k and 24 Hour events will be run on the same course. The races begin on the Campus Loop trail. This course includes a small section of the Access Loop before covering the entire River Loop. It then returns for the remainder of the Campus Loop before finishing back in the Grove. 24 Hour racers will complete their laps in the Grove and will have access to their staging spaces throughout the 24 Hour event.
The 15k begins on the Campus Loop trail. It moves to the Access Loop before covering nearly half of the River Loop. Racers will then complete the Pump House and Valley Farm loops before returning to complete the River Loop. The course then returns for the remainder of the Campus Loop before finishing back in the Grove.
The 25k, 50k, and 50 Mile events will all follow the same course with one difference. The 50 Miler runners will first complete one lap of our 5k course (see above). From here, the rest is the same. They begin on the Campus Loop trail. It moves to the Access Loop before covering nearly half of the River Loop. Racers will then complete the Pump House and Valley Farm loops. They will then cover the Farm View Trail and nearby field before returning to complete the River Loop. The course then returns for the remainder of the Campus Loop before passing through the Grove via the Oak Hill Connector. This will take runners across Intervale Rd. Signage and volunteers will be in place to ensure safe crossing. After crossing the road, the course moves to the Oak Hill Loop. Runners will briefly veer off of Oak Hill to run the perimeter of the field. They will return to Oak Hill and stay on until they reach the Pownal Loop. The Pownal Loop will then connect to the Freeport Loop. This will take runners back to the Oak Hill trail head where they will take a left hand turn to run the perimeter of the large field. The course then returns back across Intervale Rd and over to the Grove. 25k runners will complete this course once, 50k runners will go twice, and 50 Mile runners will do this loop 3 times.
