This race was designed to get you out of your cubicle and off of your computer. You have the option to spend the night under the stars at Stinnett Mill on October 12th. The race route includes a beautiful run with challenging hills, a bicycle ride through some of the best parts of Central Texas, and finally a dip in Salado Creek to refresh! When was the last time your did something for the pure joy of it?
Proceeds from the Salado Adventure Race go toward paying off acupuncturists student loans.
The Village of Salado is a unique Central Texas town surrounded by beautiful countryside. If you do not want to camp out with us the night before the race, consider staying in one of the fine lodging options around town: The Yellow House B&B, The Stagecoach Inn, The Inn on the Creek, The Inn at Salado, The Rose Mansion, and Holiday Inn, are all fantastic places to stay. The race begins at Barrow Brewing Company (108 Royal Street Salado, Texas 76571) with a 8.7 mile run. Next is a 33.8 mile bicycle ride through the beautiful Central Texas backroads. You will drop your bicycles and venture into the wild at Stinnett Mill, soon returning to the idyllic roads of the Village of Salado and returning to the brewery grounds next to Salado Creek.
