Race for Campus Safety - Utah
The Lauren McCluskey Foundation’s Race for Campus Safety is an annual, community-driven event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to improve how colleges respond to relationship violence and stalking. Inspired by Lauren McCluskey’s life and legacy, the race brings together students, families, advocates, and campus communities in a shared commitment to systemic change. Participants of all ages run, walk, or volunteer to support the foundation’s mission of enhancing campus safety and accountability.
More than just a race, the event creates a space for learning, connection, and collective action. Attendees enjoy access to resources, educational booths, live entertainment, cheer squads, sports mascots, and fun activities like inflatable obstacle courses and yard games. Proceeds directly support the foundation’s work in research, advocacy, and programming to make campuses safer nationwide. UOFU Student Discount
Student Affairs at the University of Utah is sponsoring registration for students. For both the 5K and 10K, the support and sponsorship of Student Affairs has discounted these events to $10 for University of Utah Students. There is no coupon code. The discount is applied by entering your student ID during the registration process. To receive the registration discount: (1) Select the event you would like to participate in (2) Sign the Participant Waiver (3) Decide if you would like to join or create a team (4) Enter your student ID. The discount will be applied at checkout.

Brooks Running is proud to support the Lauren McCluskey Foundation Race for Campus Safety with weekly running shoe giveaways. By registering, you're automatically entered into a drawing held each week for 8 weeks leading up to the race. One random participant will win a free pair of Brooks Running shoes in their size. No extra steps needed—winners will be announced weekly on our Instagram @lmcfoundation and notified by email. Shoe size and shipping details will be collected then, and all shoes will be mailed the week after the race.
