Event Description
The Southern Utah Half Marathon is a beautiful route starting at Highland Park in Washington, UT. It offers amazing views of the sun rising over Zion National Park in the distance. The race will proceed quickly downhill through City of Washington to the scenic Virgin River Trail. This paved trail offers a gradual decline grade for the remaining 9 miles of the race.
Course Map
The Southern Utah Half Marathon starts off with a very nice decline for the first 4 miles followed by a nice gradual decent along the Virgin River for the remainder of the race.
Aid stations will be at the following mile markers: Starting Line, 2.25, 4, 6, 8.5, 10.5, 11.75, 13.1
All aid stations will have Water, Gnarly Hydrate and e-Gel Turbo/ e-Gel Endurance at all 6 Aid Stations.We will also have Porto-Potties available at all Aid Stations. In addition Aid Stations 6 & 10.5 will also have cut up Oranges and Bananas.
