**Please be aware - there will be cones and volunteer race marshals at all intersections along the route. Street traffic will only be stopped at the intersection when the runners are passing - otherwise traffic will flow as normal but please use caution. No streets will be sealed off along the route at any point in the morning. Hard copy notifications of the race will be distributed to the homes along the race route.**
Description
Join the Fort Hunt Elementary School community for the 2023 Fox Trot! Get out in the fresh fall air and walk, run, trot with your buddies from school, your family, and friends from the community. Everyone is welcome--students, teachers, parents, siblings, friends, and neighbors.
Fox Trot Morning:
Race check-in and start will be in the front of the school, the race will end on the soccer field next to the school.
9:00 a.m. - Stretching with your classmates and members of the WPHS Cross Country team
9:30 a.m - Race starts
At the finish line: celebrate with friends, enjoy refreshments and music

Run will start from the bus loop at the school's main entrance, runners will head up Linton Lane, towards Elkin.
