Run for a Reason.
Join us for the 5K Angel Run, Kennedy’s Angel Gowns’ signature annual fundraiser held each October during Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. Since 2017, this meaningful event has welcomed hundreds of runners, walkers, and supporters and raised thousands to support our mission of serving families facing the unimaginable loss of a baby.
The 5K Angel Run is more than a race—it’s a moment to gather in remembrance. Families and friends participate in honor of their precious “angel babies,” and Kennedy’s Angel Gowns shares their names in special and heartfelt ways throughout the event. A moving tribute is included in our race-day program to uplift grieving families and remind them that they are not alone.
Every step you take helps us continue the vital programs we offer—The Angel Box, Angel Baby Funeral, Cooling Units, and Community-Based Doula Support. All proceeds directly support the work of our non-profit organization.
Whether you’re running in memory, walking in support, volunteering behind the scenes, or cheering from the sidelines, you’re part of something powerful.
We continue to enhance the race experience each year thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers and the many generous supporters who sponsor, donate, and serve. Your participation helps raise awareness and shed light on a community that often grieves in silence.
Lace up and meet us at the beautiful Oak Grove Park in Chesapeake, Virginia, or virtually! Let’s run with purpose. Let’s run for our angels.
