Join us for the 2nd race of the Tidewater Strider Distance Series!

The Tidewater Striders welcomes everyone to the second race in our 2027 Distance Series at the historic Fort Monroe. We’re excited to be able to present to you a unique 5 mile course with a loop inside the moat as well as a scenic out and back on the Mercury Blvd. bridge overlooking Mill Creek. Our race is the only one scheduled at this time at Fort Monroe.

- 10 Mile
- 15 Mile — This distance qualifies for the Hampton Roads Super Grand Prix.
For Strider Grand Prix Participants:
The 10 and 15 milers are part of the Tidewater Striders Grand Prix
Packet Pickup Information
Early packet pickup is on Friday, January 29th from 4 to 6 PM at Running Etc. Hilltop, 1940 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach
Race Day Packet Pickup:
Location: Outside by the Striders tent and the start/finish line from 7:15 to 8:20 AM
Post-Race Party:
Paradise Ocean Club

Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Participants will be treated to burgers, dogs, side dishes, soda and beer
Course Information
The Striders are happy to be back at Fort Monroe, the only race currently scheduled to be there. The course is a 5 mile loop with 2 water stations with Gatoraide and gels.
Notice: Finish line closure is based on a 15 minute per mile and will close at 12:15 pm. All Participants will start at 8:30 am
If you are looking forward to this race, and want to continue the fun, don't forget to get registered for the 3rd Distance Race Series. Finish out your winter training cycle, or come out and join the fun!
In the final series event, choose to complete a 10k, 20k, or 30k.
