Description
As part of the Chesterfield Outdoor Fest, we will be hosting several runs for all ages including Richmond’s first-ever Canicross event which is a team sport consisting of a person and a dog running together. Originating in Europe, Canicross is relatively unheard of in the United States until NOW!! Be one of the first to enjoy this amazing new sport.
In addition to the Canicross event, we will have a dog-friendly 5K and kid’s mile.

Race with Purpose
At Live Red Foundation (LRF), we race with purpose as each of our events funds the important work we are doing in Richmond's lowest-opportunity neighborhoods.
LRF is a 501c3 corporation that was founded to offer free fitness programs, which teach 8 core life skills, to youth in low-opportunity communities. These programs are funded through premier youth races which promote fitness in all communities.
Do you believe in the power of fitness to transform lives? When you race with LRF, you join us on our mission to give this to every child. Visit our website to learn more!
