5k with 5-0- National Police Week Edition

Join us for the 5th Annual 5K with 5-0 – National Police Week Edition on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at 8:00 AM! This event promotes healthy living while fostering positive relationships between the community and the Danville Police Department through walking and running.

This year, we are excited to introduce multiple race options:
🏃 5K Walk
🏃‍♂️ 5K Run
🏃‍♀️ 10K Run
👧 Children’s Fun Run (Ages 4-12)

The 5K walk and run will follow the same route, while the 10K and Children’s Fun Run will have separate courses. Participants can register for the race of their choice. Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K walk, 5K run, and 10K run. Additionally, the top male and female (ages 12-16) in the 5K run will be recognized. All children who register and participate in the Fun Run will receive a participation award.

This race is held in partnership with The Brick Running Store and features a mix of flat and hilly surfaces, offering both a challenge and a rewarding experience. All races will start and finish at the new Danville Police Department headquarters, located at 1 Community Way, Danville, VA, off Memorial Drive.

🏅 Registration Fee: $35 (includes a t-shirt, police swag, snacks, drinks, and race bib)
