Description
The purpose of the Fathers and Families 5K Fun Walk/Run is to raise awareness of fatherlessness in our community and champion the importance of fatherhood. This is event is hosted by A Father’s Legacy, Inc., a free community program that advocates for adolescent students (age 15-21) who become fathers in their journey of fatherhood by working alongside families towards building healthier relationships, responsible parenting, and economic literacy for a brighter future for their children!
The race will be held at the beautiful Pratt Park in Stafford, Virginia. This paved and gravel course winds its way along the back side of the Massad Family YMCA.
We will have a DJ on site and there will be an award ceremony and refreshments after the completion of the race at Pratt Park.

Awards
Prizes: 5K - Finisher medals to everyone who completes the race.
Monetary gifts to the top three males and females overall and top male and female in each age group. First place monetary award: $50.00; Second place monetary award $25.00; Third place monetary award $15.00.
