Miles in Memory to benefit Full Circle Grief Center

Sat September 18 - Sun September 19 Any City - Any State!, VA 99999 US
Description

Join Full Circle for Miles in Memory, a Virtual Remembrance Walk/Run brought to you by Bon Secours Richmond in 2021. Complete your walk or run in memory of a loved one. Join with friends, family members, or colleagues to create a team to honor the memory and celebrate the lives of those who died.

There's no wrong way to participate in Miles in Memory! On the weekend of September 18 - 19, choose the route for your walk/run. The possibilities are endless:

  • Walk around the block or along a path you used to stroll with your loved one
  • Choose a mileage number or time that is meaningful to you, like an anniversary, due date, birthday, or a number that was special to your loved one
  • Do a longer walk or run and ask your friends and colleagues to support your goal with a donation

Post your pre- and post-race pictures on Facebook and Instagram! Tag @FullCircleGC and use hashtag #fcmilesinmemory

Miles in Memory - Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Where does my money go? Your registration fee for Miles in Memory will help fund Full Circle Grief Center's grief support programs for children and families in the Richmond, VA area. To learn more about Full Circle's offerings, visit http://fullcirclegc.org/

2. Is this race timed? No. All ability levels and paces are welcome. That's the beauty of a virtual event--we can all choose our own distance, pace, and route. Whether you stroll around the block or run a 10K, we will remember our loved ones together.

3. What if I'm busy during the weekend of Miles in Memory? That's okay! You can complete your walk or run at an alternate time. Be sure to take a picture before, during, or after and tag us on social media using the hashtag #fcmilesinmemory. We want to celebrate your accomplishment.

4. I want to start a race team with my family members, but they don't live in Richmond. Can we still do it? Yes! Full Circle supporters all across the country (and world!) can participate in Miles in Memory. You can complete the event from wherever you are.
