Description
Join us at Smith Mountain Lake State Park for the region’s only Turkey Trot: Family-Friendly 5K or 1-Miler on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM! Presented by LAT Wellness Studio, this scenic, fully asphalt course welcomes both runners and walkers of all ages. A portion of all proceeds will once again support the state park.
Be sure to register by October 31st to guarantee your event shirt. We’ll have prizes for top finishers and, of course, the beloved Best Dressed Turkey Family contest! Runner awards begin at 10:30 AM, and kids are highly encouraged to join in the fun.
