Jump Start Your Heart POSTPONED

Following the directions of Big Bethel Baptist Church, the 2020 Jump Start Your Heart 5K has been cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions. Our church held a joint board meeting on Saturday 12 Sep and the decision was made to keep the doors of our church closed throughout the remainder of 2020. Like most races, the impact of Covid on the local community is devastating.
We are offering three options for this race:
1) Do it virtually - you will not get a t-shirt, but you will get a medal, and you will be able to upload your results to the website;
2) Defer your current registration to next year's race, which will be held on June 5 2021; or
3) We will gladly offer a refund.
Please make your decision and let us know what you have decided. We thank you for considering our race and we pray you'll return for the 2021 event.

Description
Race Information: This is a fun, family event for all ages in which a portion of the proceeds and donations will benefit the local chapter of The American Heart Association and BBBC.
Entry Fees:
5k - Before October 4: $20.00 Adult (18 & over), $15.00 (Ages 10 – 17), after October 4: $25.00, $20.00.
Fun Run/Walk: $5.00 (children age 10 and under)
Virtual 5k: $20 until October 16 (does not include t-shirt).
There are no refunds of registration fees.
Packet Pick-up Information: Big Bethel Baptist Church from 7:00 am – 8:00 a.m on race morning. There will be no pre-race packet pick-up - all packets will be distributed during race-day registration. There will be a separate table for those who have pre-registered.
NO SHIRT IS GUARANTEED FOR ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER May 18, 2019.
NO SHIRT WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE FUN RUN.
Awards: Awards given to the top three male/female overall finishers, first place male/female Masters, and the top three male/female in each age group. A finisher’s medal will be given to all in children’s event.
