Given the most recent guidance from the CDC and VDH, and in consultation with our partners at the Mariners’ Museum, we will not be able to gather in person for this year’s 5k. Instead, VBJI's 5th annual Let Justice Roll 5k will be a virtual walk/run on Saturday, April 25th.
Here’s how it will work:
This year’s virtual race is a win/win, despite COVID-19. A virtual race gives us all a reason to safely leave the confines of our houses and enjoy some fresh air, and through virtual participation, we are still able to help local trafficking survivors get the support they need to safely leave behind a world of abuse and embrace a life of freedom.
Virginia Beach Justice Initiative (VBJI) is on a mission to end human trafficking in Hampton Roads. We do this through awareness/outreach, school-based prevention curriculum, innovative jail programs and direct survivor support. With your help, we can make Hampton Roads the least friendly place for traffickers and the safest place for its victims to heal. Will you join us?
