Registration On Hold - Join Waitlist
To prevent additional people from registering for the race only to have it postponed or cancelled, we've closed registration and enabled a waitlist. The waitlist will enable you to express your intent to participant in the race without having to pay the registration fee. Once the event is cleared to happen, we'll open up the waitlist and you will have the opportunity to finish your registration if you choose to. We're shooting for at least 30 days notice for an event to happen or not. Description
The Fall Backyard Burn (SBYB) is a series of 5 and 10 mile trail running races held on some of the best trail networks in the Northern Virginia Area. All the courses include a mixture of forested fire roads, twisty hiking trails, stream crossings, grassy fields, and minimal pavement.
