Description
This is a FREE non timed SwimRun Experience Event. Contact us directly if you wish to rent a SwimRun Wetsuit.
SwimRun is a multiple-stage adventure race where participants alternate between running and swimming over a course with multiple cross-country, trail, or path runs and open-water swim stages, without stopping in between. Each participant needs a partner (or more) for safety. If you do not have a partner, you will be paired with one race morning.
Equipment
-SwimRun Wetsuit (MANDATORY) - Water will be COLD and it provides good protection from rocks etc while swimming.
-Running Shoes
-Protective Long Socks (compression works great)
-Paddles
-Pull Buoy with belt or leg strap
-Brightly Colored Cap and Goggles
Total Run ~ 9.5km
Total Swim ~ 2.5km
This Event is UNTIMED. There are NO AWARDS. It is a community event to help build the sport of SwimRun in Virginia.
This event starts and ends at Belle Isle parking lot in Richmond, VA. Course Map can be found at PrimalRva.com > Events
If you miss the wetsuit rental date, message us directly (info@primalrva.com) and we can likely get you a suit.
