Description

Get the MOTIVATION and ACCOUNTABILITY you've been looking for in your running! The coach will provide 6 unique weekly running, mobility, and strength workouts to help you start your year on the right foot. Triple Threat Tuesdays will be held: Jan 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, and Feb 6.

Each workout will be 3 to 5 miles and will start at Shrine Hill Park parking lot (2102 Grandin Rd SW). We will warm up with 1.5 to 2.5 miles on the trail (approx. 10:30-11:30 pace) and then complete 1.5 to 2.5 miles worth of intervals on the track. Afterward, we will do a 10-minute strength, mobility, and stretching session.

The group will meet on Tuesday mornings from 6:00 - 7:00 am. We will start at 6:02; if you don't see us in the lot, follow the trail or hit the track for your warmup. You may leave early or start late as your schedule requires. Walkers are welcome, and really fast people are welcome, too. Any workout can be modified to do fewer or more miles. Consider bringing a headlamp and water!

Optional BONUS round: stay until 7:30 for 2 road miles and a coffee/smoothie opportunity.

  • STRENGTH TRAINING PLANS to complete alongside your running workouts.
  • Tips on MOBILITY and STRETCHING. 
  • Explanation of a wide variety of RUNNING workouts.
  • Weekly check-ins on running and strength training progress. 
  • Unlimited access to the coach for 2 months regarding pace recommendations and personalized coaching.
  • Info about shoes, gear, hydration, nutrition, recovery, and injury prevention.
  • Motivation, inspiration, and humor.
  • Free stock training plans (5k to 50k) on request. 

This training program is hosted by OFF THE GRID RUNNING and is led by Coach Becky Walters, an RRCA certified coach and avid runner.
