Race for Grace 2025

Join us for a day of fun at the annual "Race for Grace" 5K run/walk at Willowmere Park! Whether you are looking to race for the gold or just looking for a graceful stroll, this event is for you! An event shirt is included in the cost of registration for the 5K.

This event is a fundraiser for Grace Preparatory School (GPS). GPS is a fully accredited, non-denominational Christian School in Stafford, Virginia with a strong focus on the family! Our event is fun for the whole family and we will have a bounce house, food trucks, and music. The registration for the Kids Run is free, but if a child would like a shirt, those can be purchased for $15 at the link above or at the event (while supplies last). 

Race Start Times
Gates open at 9am
1/2 mile Kids Run at 10am
5K run/walk begins at 10:15am

Registration Fees
5K run/walk - $30 
**Price will increase by $5 on race morning.
T-Shirts are guaranteed to runners registered before March 24th. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-serve basis.  Note: Kids Run t-shirts are all in youth sizes.

Course 
This is a mostly paved trail run with minimal hills and a few grassy stretches. The 5K is multiple laps around the course.

Awards
We award the top 3 men and women overall during our awards ceremony.

Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup is available at the event. We recommend arriving one hour before your event start time to check-in.

Race Day Registration
There will be race day registration available. Participants will need to arrive approximately one hour before the race to register for the event. T-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for race day registers. 
**Price will increase on the race morning by $5 for 5K.

Restrooms 
Restrooms are available near the parking lot.

Weather Policy
We will email registered runners if the race is cancelled, but this is highly unlikely. We plan to have the event regardless of weather.
