Westbriar Elementary Annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk

UPDATE: Online registration is now closed.  Walk up registration will be available at 7:30am, April 13th at the front of the school. Thank you to all that registered.

Join the Westbriar Elementary PTA, school, students, family, and the community Saturday, April 13th for our annual 5K run and 1-mile fun walk. This year, our theme is Falcons Fight Hunger! The start and finish line are located at the school. Participants can enjoy the 5K run or 1-mile walk, a service-learning project, along with music, raffles, and after-race treats. 

NEW! Body Fit Training will lead a warmup at 7:45am in front of the school. The 5K begins at 8am and the 1-mile walk begins at 8:05am.

This year we will be introducing an individual timed event for our 5K run. All participants in our 5K run will be given a unique bib number with a chip to track their individual run time. All participants in our 1-mile walk will receive a unique bib number but will not have a chip.

In addition, we will be working with the Kilmer Middle School Food Pantry to fight food insecurity in our own immediate community. The pantry provides food and other household items to Kilmer students and their families. The PTA will be collecting food items to build weekend meal bags (aka power packs) for the Kilmer Food Pantry to distribute to Kilmer students. Our Westbriar students will have the opportunity to participate in a service-learning project benefiting the Food Pantry after the 5K/1-mile walk. Requested food items are broken down by grade.
