We ALL 5K in different ways.  “5k My Way!” is an exciting Virtual Event created for all demographics and varied interests.  This isn't your traditional 5k, anything goes here...

HOW DO YOU 5K?

You Decide. We encourage YOU to GET INSPIRED, GET CREATIVE, & 5k in your own way!  

• • Biking ~ Swimming ~ Kayaking ~ Running ~ Golfing ~ Basically ALL Sporting

  • Animals can 5k? (walking your dog or is your dog walking you?)

  • Fishing (you are throwing your fishing line out how many k?)

  • Yardwork (mowing your lawn and blowing your leaves keeps you active)

  • Cornhole in your backyard (beverage in hand – that corn bag gets tossed how many k?)

  • Yoga (how many controlled breathes? Namaste!)

"5K My Way!" - $25 - Complete in one or two days!

During this unprecedented time, the Virginia Turfgrass Foundation wants to encourage consumers, families (including the family pets), and more to get outside and enjoy whatever helps make their "5K MY WAY!" happen.

Since this is a virtual event, anyone can participate.

The Virginia Turfgrass Foundation is a non profit 501c-3 organization that promotes the Health & Environmental benefits of natural grass by funding research to preserve, transform, and improve the environment throughout the commonwealth and beyond. 100% of the proceeds from 5K MY WAY! support the Virginia Tech Turfgrass Team and their ongoing research of natural grass.
