Shenandoah Valley Orthdontics Kids' Bloomin' Mile

Experience the thrill of running in one of the premier kids races in the area! The Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics Kids' Bloomin' Mile presented by Realty ONE Group Old Towne will be run on Friday, May 1, 2026 and covers the first mile of the famous Apple Blossom 10K course. Medals to all finishers and age group awards are given! Age Group Winners are invited to ride in the Apple Blossom Grand Feature Parade.

Location: Handley High School - tent will be located in the grass between Handley Blvd. and the Handley Bowl

Important Notice for 6-7 Age Group Parents/Guardians

To enhance the safety and security of our youngest participants, all runners in the 6–7 age group will be directed into a finishing corral immediately after they complete the race. Parents or guardians must enter the corral to pick up their child. No runner will be allowed to leave the corral without a parent or guardian present.

Valley Health 10K

Enjoy the sights, sounds and the experience of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, while running a 10K through the streets of downtown Winchester. The Valley Health 10K has been a fan favorite event for over 40 years! It is a race for runners of all abilities and it covers historic parts of the Apple Blossom Parade route. The course is USATF certified. Overall, Masters, Grand Masters and Age Group awards. Awards are non-transferable and no duplication of awards (except Local Runner Awards). NO bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, strollers or animals allowed on race course.
