Westridge Youth Triathlon

Welcome to the Westridge Youth Triathlon, an exhilarating test of athleticism, problem-solving, and endurance! Each age group will face a thrilling combination of running, swimming, and physical obstacles tailored to their abilities. 

Event Details: 

• Swim: The swim leg will take place in a supervised swimming pool with lifeguards ensuring safety at all times.
• Run: Participants will navigate through a designated running course suited to their age group
• Physical Obstacles: Following the swim, along the running route, participants will encounter physical challenges designed to test their strength, agility, and determination. 

• 5-6 years old: 
  Run: 0.12 miles 
  Swim: 25 yards (with floatation aids if needed) 
  Obstacle: Low hurdles
• 
  7-8 years old: 
  Run: 0.25 miles 
  Swim: 50 yards 
  Obstacle: Low Hurdles and Star Jumps/Jumping Jacks 
• 
  9-10 years old: 
  Run: 0.5 miles 
  Swim: 100 yards 
  Obstacle: Low Hurdles, Jumping Jacks and Box Jumps 
• 
  11-12 years old: 
  Run: 0.62 miles 
  Swim: 200 yards 
  Obstacle: Low Hurdles, Jumping Jacks, Box Jumps and Burpees 
• 
  13-16 years old: 
  Run: 1 mile 
  Swim: 250 yards 
  Obstacle: Low Hurdles, Jumping Jacks, Box Jumps, Burpees and Tuck Jumps

• Every participant will receive a commemorative medal and the satisfaction of conquering the triathlon.
• Awards may be presented for fastest overall time, best obstacle performance, or most resilient spirit.
