Description

In memory of Purple Heart recipient Major General Kenneth Oliver Sanborn, USAF

With deep respect and gratitude, we remember the life and service of Major General Sanborn, whose leadership and sacrifice continue to inspire us.

All net proceeds go to Veterans Charities like Homes For Our Troops.

Join us on Saturday, October 3, for our fourth annual CLTA 5K and experience Vermont at the height of its spectacular fall foliage season!

The race takes place on the beautiful grounds of the Chris Lewit Tennis Academy near Manchester, Vermont, in the heart of the Green Mountains. The course consists of approximately 0.75-mile laps along wooded trails that wind through brilliant autumn scenery and beside the majestic West River. Runners will pass through the checkpoint in front of the club several times, providing excellent cheering and viewing opportunities for spectators.

Many CLTA tennis academy students will be participating, and kids and families are warmly welcomed. Bring a picnic, enjoy the race, and take in the incredible sights of the colorful trees and river. Afterward, explore the trails or visit nearby charming Manchester for a perfect fall day in Vermont.

Please be aware that this is a technical trail race through the forest. Participants should be prepared for uneven terrain, roots, rocks, and potentially slippery fall conditions.

Free T-shirts for all registered racers!

Come run, cheer, and celebrate the fall foliage season with the CLTA community!
