Stratton Pond Skim

It's time to Sink or Skim. Try not to take a dip during the Annual Pond Skim at Stratton on April 7,2024. The pond is back as participants try to skim across the water's surface and make it out the other side just as dry as they entered. An event that is just as fun to watch as it is to enter, join us on April 7th to see who sinks, and who skims.

Come ready to skim the pond on your skis and snowboards, dressed in your favorite costume. Multiple winners will be judged on Best Costume, Best Crash and Best Skim. Online Registration is open to the first 150 participants. There will be no day of registration this year. Each Pond Skim participant will receive 2024 T-shirt. Lift tickets for participants without a season pass will be sold the day of for $25.00 + Tax at the event check-in.

All participants are required to wear a helmet for their run or they will be turned away. Participants must go down individually; no double skis, no pulling items and no ski poles are allowed for safety.
